Meet Dr. Bethany Fishbein
Bethany Fishbein, O.D., is a dedicated optometrist who co-founded Somerset Eye Care alongside her husband, Dr. Jonathan Fishbein. Their vision for Somerset Eye Care was to create a practice where patients would receive the same level of care and attention that they would want for themselves and their loved ones.
Dr. Fishbein’s Experience
Dr. Bethany Fishbein brings a wealth of experience to her role as an optometrist and as the practice’s owner. She and Dr. Jonathan Fishbein were inspired to create a welcoming environment where patients feel valued and cared for from the moment they walk through the doors. Over the years, they have nurtured Somerset Eye Care as their “first baby,” watching it grow alongside a dedicated team of staff and a growing patient community.

Dr. Bethany Fishbein is the CEO at The Power Practice, a practice management company dedicated to helping practice owners achieve their dreams. While she may no longer see patients in the exam room, she finds great fulfillment in facing the challenges that come from assisting other practices on their journey to success.
Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Bethany Fishbein treasures her role as a parent. She and Jonathan have two children — a son who is currently pursuing an engineering degree at Queen’s University in Kingston, ON, and a daughter who attends South Brunswick High School.
