Meet Dr. Prapti Chandrani
Prapti Chandrani, O.D., is a dedicated and experienced optometrist who’s originally from North Brunswick, New Jersey. She pursued her education at the SUNY College of Optometry, where she distinguished herself by completing a seven-year accelerated program in conjunction with the New Jersey Institute of Technology, ultimately earning a degree in biology.
Dr. Chandrani’s Experience
Dr. Chandrani is passionate about the field of optometry and takes great pleasure in the detective work involved in diagnosing, treating, and managing patients’ eye care needs. Her expertise extends to fitting specialty scleral contact lenses, and she prides herself on providing unique solutions for patients who require these lenses to achieve clear vision when conventional methods fall short.

When not at the clinic, she cherishes spending quality time with her family. Dr. Chandrani also nurtures a love for travel, embracing the opportunity to explore different cultures. Furthermore, she is a skilled dancer and has training in classical (Bharat Natyam) and semi-classical Indian dance. To unwind, she enjoys watching action movies, with a special affinity for James Bond films (before anyone asks, her favorite is Pierce Brosnan).
